Linda Wilson, a long time resident of the Mission District, receives her second dose of the Moderna vaccine against COVID-19 at the vaccination site on 24th and Capp streets, on Monday March 8, 2021. After receiving her first shot at the CCSF campus site, Wilson kept receiving updates with repeated delays to her appointment for second dose due to shortage. Two days after she was due for her second shot, she arrived at the Mission District site without an appointment. She answered some questions and the site manager, Jamie, made calls to doctors and supervisors, while Wilson's and the photographer waited at a coffeeshop across the street. In less than an hour, Wilson got the call confirming she could get an appointment and she received the vaccine that same day.
